Circles are found everywhere in nature.  Round water droplets, asteroid impact craters, the center cone of flowers, the face of stars and planets, the cross section of bolts, screws and eyeballs, swimming pools and even in the eye of hurricanes.  Determining circumference, diameters, radii, area and volume of objects and things are made tremendously easier with the circumference to diameter ration known as Pi.
